I’m an engineer-turned-UX designer who finally gave himself permission to pursue the creativity he always loved. Growing up in a Chinese immigrant family, art wasn’t seen as a “real” career path, so I followed the road to engineering. But in the background, I was always designing: flyers for clubs, logos for fun, visuals for church, even board games.

In 2022 I discovered UI/UX, and it felt like everything clicked. It blended the parts of engineering I enjoyed — problem-solving, structure, clarity — with the creativity I had quietly nurtured for years. Since then, I’ve been helping small businesses build websites, brands, and experiences that feel intuitive, human, and aligned with their mission.

I care deeply about clarity, communication, and using design to genuinely serve people. Whether it’s a local cafe, a nonprofit, or a growing startup, I love partnering with clients to bring their ideas to life in a way that’s simple, strategic, and thoughtfully crafted.
